Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Holds ("the App"), developed and operated by Felix Niedermann. By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of the App
Holds is a calisthenics workout logging and progress tracking tool. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
2. Accounts
Creating an account is optional. The App works fully offline without one. If you create an account:
You must provide a valid email address
You are responsible for all activity under your account
You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes all data from our servers
3. User Content
You retain ownership of all data you enter into the App (workouts, templates, exercises, notes). We do not claim any rights over your content. We access your data only to provide the App's functionality.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the App to store or transmit illegal content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
5. Availability & Updates
We aim to keep the App available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. Critical changes will be communicated through the App or this page.
6. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Felix Niedermann shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data.
We recommend keeping cloud sync enabled to protect against data loss, but we cannot guarantee the integrity of synced data in all circumstances.
7. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your cloud data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Changes will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.
